You shouldn’t have to call me every time you want to update some text on your website or add a new photo, so I build all my websites using content management systems. This means that you can take ownership of your content and keep it updated, easy and quickly, without having to come to me to do it. So you save money and are able to keep your website completely up-to-date. However, I am happy to undertake the maintenance of your website for you if you would prefer.
I generally use either Textpattern or ExpressionEngine as the backend of the websites I create, depending on budget and the demands of the website. Both are extremely powerful and are very flexible in the type of websites that can be created with them. There are also a wide range of extensions and add-ons available for each of them to suit almost every conceivable need.

Whilst you are, of course, free to host your new website at the hosting company of your choice, I can offer affordable, powerful hosting that gives you room to grow. You can have as many email addresses as you want, and you will have plenty of storage space and data transfer included. Should your website become successful beyond your wildest dreams (and I hope it does!) and starts to attract large numbers of visitors, I can arrange to migrate it to a very flexible, expandable and cost-effective platform.
